Smore Time

Last weekend we went camping up near Remini with some of our friends. After dinner, Tyler asked his usual question, "What's for dessert?" As many of you probably guessed, we had smores! Smores and camping go hand in hand. Sitting around the campfire at night with fresh air, stars, campfire smoke, friendly conversation, smores are only natural. Tyler and Garrett both had fun roasting marshmellows. Since I was in charge of handing out the marshmellows, graham crackers, and chocolate, I was not able to help the boys roast their marshmellows. Justin helped Tyler and our friend Jeff helped Garrett. We were thankful for Jeff's help since neither Tyler nor Garrett have any patience to wait for Justin. They both think they are big boys and can do everything by themselves.
The boys loved their smores. After they finished their smore, they ate plain and roasted marshmellows. Both boys had sticky hands and faces when they were finished. Garrett managed to get marshmellow all over his coat and jeans. It is a good thing marshmellow washes out of clothes fairly easy.
