Camping near Remini

Our camping trip up Remini was enjoyable last week. Tyler and Garrett had fun playing in the dirt, riding the four wheelers, and just being little boys. Justin had packed the big dump trucks the boys play with in the sandbox. They played with the trucks a bunch. Garrett loved to push the truck on the path to the outhouse. He would then sit on the cement pad by the outhouse before riding in the truck down a little hill. I do not know why he picked that spot, but he did. The boys also loved to sit in the grass and trees and play. Overall, the boys were really good. There were a couple of time though when Garrett did not want to share. There was a little girl camping with us who is 3 days younger than Garrett. She liked playing with Tyler and Garrett. We should have brought 3 trucks instead of 2 to save on the fights.

On the first night Tyler and Garrett wanted to sleep in Uncle Mike's tent. They were each in their own sleeping bag, all tucked in, when they decided they wanted to sleep in mom and dad's tent. So, we took their sleeping bags and pillows to mom and dad's tent. Well, then they decided they wanted to sleep with mom and dad. On Friday night, I slept next to Tyler. Garrett slept between Tyler and Justin. The bad part was that I ended up in the hole on the floor between the two air mattresses. The next night, Justin slept on the twin air mattress in a sleeping bag that only went up to his mid chest with one of the toddler sleeping bags on his arms and upper chest. Tyler and Garrett slept with me on the queen air mattress in the big double sleeping bag. Even though we still need to work on the logistics of our sleeping arrangements so all parties are comfortable, warm, and happy, we had a good time.
